The east alabama medical center freestanding emergency department opens its doors at 7 a.m. The freestanding emergency department will be the first in the area, with all others in the state near birmingham or mobile. East alabama medical center’s new freestanding emergency department, located in eamc’s also new auburn medical pavilion, will begin operation on wednesday, june 23 at 7 a.m.
East alabama health opened the auburn medical pavilion in collaboration with auburn university and the city of auburn friday morning in the auburn research park.
The hospice of east alabama medical center, also known as the hospice of eamc, specializes in nursing assistance and health care services. The east alabama medical center freestanding emergency department opens its doors at 7 a.m. This is just the sixth freestanding emergency department in alabama, with three in the birmingham area and two in the mobile/baldwin county area. The $2 million will be allotted over 10 years, with the city contributing $200,000 a year.
